The Akshaya Patra Foundation is an NGO in India. It strives to eliminate classroom hunger by implementing the Mid-Day Meal Scheme in the government schools and government-aided schools. Smile Foundation, an Indian social development organization, is directly benefitting over 1.5 million children and their families every year. They have more than 400 live welfare projects on education, healthcare, livelihood, and women’s empowerment in over 2,000 remote villages and urban slums across 25 states of India.

The ‘Lighthouse: Centre for Skilling and Livelihood’ is a sustainable livelihood program for urban disadvantaged youth. It fosters agency, workplace competencies and skills in youth, thus enabling social and economic transformation for themselves and in their communities.
