If there’s one thing every office needs, it’s to get away from the desk and have some good times together in the process. It can be hard to find the time in our busy schedules, but that was not a big concern for our team at Vikasietum Tecknology as we headed out for a fun-filled team outing.
The team started the day by trekking to Sinhagad, where we enjoyed climbing the fort 760 meters above the ground.
Trekking to Sinhagad Fort
Sinhagad fort was mesmerizing, especially with the sky colored in the hues of sunrise. 8:30 am in the morning, the team started the trek to the summit of the fort. The climb was challenging but the view from the top was worth it. The team kept hydrated with regular sips of lemonade and water to keep their energy levels high. The cute animals along the way were an instant hit of serotonin, which is always welcome. It felt incredibly calming to be outside and the best-enjoyed team activity is eating! The team feasted on Maharashtrian traditional food- Zunka Bhakar!
Team bonding is always a great experience and we'd do it again in a heartbeat. The team came back with photographs taken at the top of Sinhagad fort, fresh air, pleasant breeze, and lovely memories in nature. Although there was no network at the top of the fort, the team managed to come together and move to a city for a delicious meal!
Team Lunch
One thing that makes Vikasietum Tecknology tick is the passion everyone shares – gastronomic delights! The team reached a restaurant to have some awesome food. There were four separate dining areas so everyone could enjoy their meal. Many teammates are already in touch outside work but taking time away from it allows us to have great conversations that aren't bogged down by constant interruptions and business-related updates. It also makes for some interesting stories for us when we go back to work!
Fun and Activities
We had a blast playing games at Smaaash! The company purchased personal cards for each team member so we could keep track of our scores. The team played multiple games including the King of Hammer, Illusion, Bike ride, Air hockey, Bowling, and many more. We laughed and cheered each other on as we tried to set new high scores.
At first, everyone wanted to compete with one another and win. But then they started cheering on their teammates instead of competing against them. The people in our group who are not that active got into it too because it's not about winning or losing; it's about having fun! All in all, it was a fantastic day with many activities.
We had a great time trekking at Sighagad Fort, eating delicious food, and playing games at Smaaash. We're happy to have such a great team that enjoys spending time together both inside and outside of the office!
